In our initial meeting with the client, we explain the Surrogate’s Court processes and procedures, review the Last Will and Testament with the client (if the decedent passes away with a will), and discuss the decedent’s assets and liabilities. We then prepare the forms necessary for the nominated Executor or nominated Administrator to be appointed. Once the Executor or the Administrator is appointed, we then assist the Executor or Administrator through the remaining process of settling the Estate.
